Happy Chinese New Year!
I just came back from my hometown. Very tiring… For the whole week, I will need to do housework in the morning, have a nap during afternoon and help my parent at restaurant at night. I usually slept at 3am. That’s why I said tiring. Everyone said economy downturn… all of us must save money… cut cost etc. But I don’t see this happen to the customers in restaurant! More customers than previous years. People still willing to pay at higher cost for meal. May be SP is a small town and people there still not able to feel the tension. It’s good anyhow. Especially my parent. :P
Although this year I started to give ang pao, I also received ang pao! Haha… my friend said usually 1st year after married still can get ang pao. So good! This is also the 1st year I went to grandmother-in-law’s house for CNY.
Yesterday hubby and I went to Penang Heritage and CNY celebration at Georgetown. It was a great experience. A lot of activities there. We can see some of the tradition of Chinese. There was a lot of Chinese food there as well. Although there were many people and the weather is so hot, we were still enjoying in visiting some of the famous place like Cheah Kong Si, Islamic museum and so on. I saw Lim Guan Eng!! He was going to leave after refreshment, he just walked beside me with a lot of bodyguards.
Here is the only one photo I took yesterday.
