告别旧眼镜……

哈，认识我的人都知道，我患有进眼镜店恐惧症。或许你会吓了一跳，怎么有这种病症。是的，我不幸是少数的其中之一。我很小就带眼镜了。我还记得那时的镜框是塑胶的。我的第一个眼镜大大的，而且是粉红色镜框。一开始就是三百度。我妈都吓了一跳。接着每次去眼镜店验眼，度数都一直在增加…… 老板娘每次都说：哗！你的度数很高哩！这样小就这么深，以后可会盲的…… 每次我都会被吓得冒冷汗。有时，我会很气愤地在想：她是不想做生意吗，干嘛每次都吓我。话说回来，我的近视可是遗传的，也不知为什么，我很爱吃鱼，一直很照顾眼睛，可是度数还是节节上升…… 当然，我进入大学后，我的眼睛度数终于停止增长。可是我已对眼镜店有莫大的恐惧感……
很多人，都会很奇怪，为何我的眼镜那么旧，还不舍得换。一直有人很直接告诉我：你的眼镜很Out! 也有人间接地告诉我，哪里有眼镜的promotion。哈！我的公司给我们每人RM250 for optical care and dental。去看牙医，洗洗牙，也不需要RM250吧！不用白不用，好吧，就去我小学的同学新开的眼镜店，去配一对眼镜吧！

我的新发型

其实，去年的一月，我也很勇敢地把头发交给发型师，让他去把它烫卷。可惜，出来的效果很令人失望。烫后，有好几天我不敢照镜子…… 我不擅于打理头发，很快地，那一头卷发变得像杂草似的……
我承认我一直都不会打理我的三千烦恼丝，任由它自生自灭……虽然如此，我很羡慕他人有一头亮丽又直的长发。我一直没有勇气去烫直头发，因为我的头发很少，害怕烫后，像扫把挂在脸上。终于，今天在发型屋的老板的游说下，我拿出毕生最大的勇气，点头答应，把我的头发交到她的手上……

开学的第一天

今天我们一家人浩浩荡荡地带我的弟弟去Aimst念书。我们之所以全家人都去，那是因为Aimst离我们家很近。虽然很靠近我家，但我爸妈决定让我弟弟住在宿舍里，学习如何和人相处，学习独立。
所有东西，从水桶到厕纸，我们都准备得很妥当。哪像我当年进入UTM时，一个人离乡背井到柔佛去…… 我还记得那是6月19日1999年，八年前…… 我洒泪挥别我最亲爱的家人，提着沉甸甸地行李，一个人到南马念书。还记得当时，战战兢兢把行李提到M17的一间陌生的房间，一开门就看到一张陌生的脸，带着亲切的笑容，对着我说: ”嗨！你好！我是木兰！” 木兰？！这好像昨天才发生的事……看着我最小的弟弟终于长大了，离开家，学习独立了，很是感动。我问他：“怎么样，紧张吗？害怕吗？”他苦笑地点了点头。是的，姐姐想要告诉你：你已经长大了，前面的路很长，我们没办法一直陪在你身旁，当你遇到挫折，你要学会拿起勇气，勇敢地面对，知道吗？

Laptop down! (December 06)

Last 2 weeks, my laptop suddenly became sot-sot. Before went into Windows, a lot of error messages appeared to block me go in. I had called IT expert to help me. After 3 hours they scanned here and changed there, they finally told me:” Miss Sam, I’m sorry…… I think your window operating system corrupted…… We’ll go to pick up your laptop later, kindly give us 2 to 3 days to re-format your laptop. Before that, remember to back up your files. Thanks for calling.”
